Don’t Hassel the Hoff, David Hasselhoff

Posted in GETV Episode by ekai on the August 11th, 2008

One man can make a difference! That tag line rang through every episode of the hit 80s tv show Knight Rider every Friday night as Michael aka David Hasselhoff raced his faithful K.I.T.T. into the hearts of millions of women — and men, really — in the world! In this episode, GETV catches up with the super star in San Francisco where the Hoff joined millionaires in the Gumball 300 rally. After Irina beat up the 500 other reporters trying to creep up on the Hoff, David tells Irina how he’s driving that same sleek black horsepower into the future, this time on the internets — the power of THE HOFF is so strong, he’s got his own social network where he makes dreams come true. Yes, you too can join HOFF SPACE and get your own HOFF BAG for those times when HOFF WIG is exactly what you need for the occasion.

Now what do I have to do to make the him sing and dance on the shiny black car in my town?? Can't wait to see his log from North Korea. Good job with the interview.

  • Moral of the story: Don't impersonate the Hoff's kids!! Great job, guys..
  • Nicely done, Irina & Eddie.
Good to know there's life after "he's HUGE in Japan." I want a HOFF BAG!
And, that crotch shot from the concert footage is classic.

Ha! He's been drinking. Onya Hoff! It's subtle, but definite. Watch and listen carefully. Here's a guy trying to be enthusiastic, but his body language and slight slurs tell us that really his mind is in another place.

Another thing - With the 'Hoffspace' thing (or whatever his site is called), when someone promoting their own site is visibly cringing when they say "It's all about bringing people together", it doesn't take a Nostradamus to predict where the site is heading.

Kudos to him, however, for keeping the 'Hoff legend' (tongue in cheek) alive in a tragic Elvis kind of way. Hopefully we won't read about him being found on a toilet somewhere.
  • I love David Hasselhoff, he was such great in Baywatch, but nowadays he is kinda poor creature to look at
  • I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a HOFF BAG!
  • Sure, the "Hoff" is great, but who I *really* miss is "Ponch" (that's Poncherello to you non-C.H.I.P.S.-watching folk). How have they not reincarnated that gem? Ponch should tour Germany and Japan too!
